Workshop Peningkatan Kapasitas Aparatur Desa
Pemerintah Kabupaten Gresik bekerja sama dengan Universitas Muhammdiyah Gresik dan didukung oleh Universitas Narotama Surabaya menyelenggarakan kegiatan Workshop dengan tema: "Peran Aparatur Pemerintahan Desa dalam Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Desa" yang dilaksanakan di Hall Sang Pencerah Lantai 8 Kampus UMG pada Selasa 28 Agustus 2018. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan sebagai bagian dari program peningkatan kapasitas aparatur Desa.
Workshop ini menghadirkan Gubernur Jawa Timur sebagai keynote speaker, Bupati Gresik Dr. Ir. Sambari Halim Radianto, Bupati Bojonegoro 2008-2018 Dr. Suyoto, Rektor UMG Prof. Dr. Setyo Budi, dan Dekan Fakultas Hukum Unnar Dr. Rusdianto Sesung, S.H., M.H., sebagai narasumber. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 600 Kepala Desa dan Perangkat Desa se Kabupaten Gresik. Turut mendampingi Dekan FH ialah Direktur Marketing Unnar Qausyah Faviandani, S.E., M.M.
Dalam paparannya, Dekan FH Unnar, Dr. Rusdianto Sesung, S.H., M.H., menekankan pentingnya pendidikan formal bagi Kepala Desa dan Perangkat Desa guna menyelenggarakan pemerintahan Desa karena tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Desa semakin kompleks. Oleh karena itu, Dekan FH Unnar mempersilahkan para Kepala Desa dan Perangkat Desa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke FH Unnar baik pada jenjang sarjana maupun pascasarjana.
